Project Summary
Proposition 65 requires businesses to put specific warning labels on their products if any of their ingredients are deemed potentially toxic by the state of California.
Prop. 65 List is a chemical search database that allows sellers to lookup chemicals that are on the ca.gov's Proposition 65 List. I was brought on to lay the foundation for the Prop. 65 List website including information architecture and design strategy to help online sellers stay compliant when selling products within California.

Solution
The existing Proposition 65 website stores all chemicals that are on the Proposition 65 list, but users find it cumbersome to use as it only allows users to search for one chemical at a time.
Prop. 65 List feeds from the original government site and is designed for users to easily search multiple chemicals simultaneously.
